Bray is a San Francisco-based singer songwriter performer with a unique brand of alt pop rock: Catchy Bowie-esque hooks and driving Foo/Arctic guitar grooves, topped with quirky sardonic lyrics.
Touring as a trio under the moniker Bray and the Dens, the band fuels audiences into a feel-good frenzy with their kinetic live shows. They have performed for crowds as large as 7,000 in ten countries around the world, sharing stages with Train, Slash, Scott Weiland and members of The Doors, the Sex Pistols and Prince's Revolution.
Named “Best Live Band” by the San Francisco Herald, and one of the top 100 Artists in the Country by Music Connection Mag, He and his band were featured in the NARAS (Grammy) New Artist Showcase in their hometown of San Francisco.
Tracks from Bray's four studio album releases have enjoyed heavy rotation on over 150 CMJ stations nationwide, charting as high as #3. In addition, his songs have appeared in over half a dozen national television shows, as well as MTV Road Rules, VH1 Old Skool and the syndicated reality series Bad Girls Club. Perhaps even more impressively, his cinematic videos (www.youtube.com/braymusic) have garnered more then 4,000,000 views on YouTube.
The latest release, "The Aliens Are Here," is a concept EP of sorts, exploring sci fi dystopian themes in a playfully cynical way. Be sure to experience this other-worldy artist.
